Proven Benefits: VTF Publishes VITime® Aquastick® Antistress Trial Results

19 May 2026

Scientific substantiation of benefits for the manufactured products is the absolute priority for VTF, indeed. The recently completed trials have demonstrated compelling results for its 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) complex for treating psychovegetative disorders.

The trials in fact involved 70 volunteers with diagnosed anxiety and stress conditions. The main group consisted of 37 patients, the control group including 30 people (another 3 participants dropped out due to individual characteristics and external circumstances that were unrelated to product safety).

The following data were obtained in the trials:

  • The number of participants with low to moderate trait anxiety increased from 7 to 23 in the group receiving VITime® Aquastick® Antistress, compared with the control group;
  • The number of participants with low to moderate state anxiety increased from 15 to 30 in the group receiving VITime® Aquastick® Antistress, compared with the control group;
  • The number of participants who frequently experienced symptoms of anxiety, irritability, fatigue, sleep disturbances and muscle tension decreased from 17 people (46%) to 9 people (25%);
  • Those participants who received the dietary supplement showed positive dynamics in terms of well-being, activity, and mood;
  • In 13 people (35%), the frequency of symptoms of anxiety, irritability, fatigue, sleep disturbances and muscle tension decreased.

The official report emphasizes the following: “The good tolerability of the dietary supplement makes it possible for us to recommend it as a product reducing the negative impact of stress on the mental health of the adult population.”
