Developed in collaboration with our strategic partner Promis JSC, our innovative cardboard packaging for KidZ Lemon Balm and Mint Syrup won the 21st edition of ProdExtraPack 2026 in the special pharmaceutical category.
The expert board of the prestigious industry competition honored our product with the highest award in Packaging and Labeling for Perfumery, Cosmetics, and Pharmaceutical Products category. They viewed packaging as an integral element of a comprehensive quality system, strictly assessing protective properties, structural stability, quality of labeling and reliability during transportation.
This victory was the result of successful technological cooperation and an engineering approach. KidZ Lemon Balm and Mint Syrup is available in a trendy single-serve stick format, which requires a particularly elaborated package design with an internal retaining support.
VTF together with technologists at Promis’s printing house faced a challenging task as they had to precisely adapt the design solution to the high-speed automatic packaging lines at our plant. The joint working group ran a series of industrial tests, and, as a result, we modified the inner liner, thus being able to completely eliminate the risk of cardboard jams during packaging, while maintaining the highest level of equipment performance and the impeccable visual aesthetics of the children's product.
